Matthew Stalcup, CFA

Matt Stalcup, CFA is the Director of Operations at Vast Wealth Advisors. As director, Matt oversees and leads the firm’s daily business activities. He is committed to providing exceptional service to clients.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M in Finance and a master’s degree from the University of San Francisco in Financial Analysis, Matt began working in the finance industry, first at an institutional allocator and later at a derivatives-based hedge fund. With deep experience in the industry, Matt oversees portfolio reporting, manages the execution of investments, integrates technology systems, improves data management and collaborates with outside parties to streamline operations. He is certified as a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).

Matt appreciates the opportunity to contribute to clients’ individual lives through his work. Attracted to the complexities in the financial industry, Matt works with a wide range of investment types and is motivated by a desire to learn and continually grow. Matt executes clients’ financial plans efficiently, providing tremendous value to clients.

Originally from Texas, Matt lives with his wife and two children in Franklin, Tennessee. When not in the office, Matt spends much of his time with his family—coaching his children’s soccer team, hiking in the backcountry and taking trips to the beach. He loves spending time outdoors. As a former Army Ranger, Matt lives with a sense of duty and selfless service to the community.
